The Pirates are coming!!!

Last Saturday we were going to go down to Cannon Beach, but the weather down there wasn't good so we decided to stay home and do something fun around here. We went down to Alki Beach where they were having their yearly pirate landing. It was so fun, we had the kids dress up and checked it all out. There were a lot of booths with free stuff for the kids, games (of which I won the bean bag toss!) We got a gift certificate to go out to eat! Oh Yeah, I rock! ha! Brooklyn got to meet Captain Jack, which she has been talking about all week. They also had bouncy pirate boats to play in. Anyway during the festival, they had a lot of boats out in the bay shooting off guns and cannons and pretending to fight and then the big pirate boat came and they landing on shore and a bunch of pirates ran out and invaded the beach. It was pretty fun and the kids enjoyed it a lot. Here are some photos.
