A teeny tiny baby cow

While we were in Montana on the farm, Papa's cows were starting to have babies. The kids LOVED going out everyday to see them. One baby that was born was only 25 lbs....when usually a calf is 50 or 60 lbs. He was so tiny. Anyway, my dad brought him home and the kids had a good time taking care of him. They got to help feed him a bottle and pet him and give him blankets and talk to him and poke him in the eye....Beckham loves eyes.

We took him back out to his mommy and had him ride with us in the truck. Enjoy these pictures and videos, they are so cute! I love how Beckham is so interested in him and how soft he is with him....besides the poking in the eye part!

Whoops! I forgot to post my valentine pics of Brooklyn and Beckham

I did a little photo shoot of my kids for valentine's day, I sent the pics to the grandparents and aunt laini but forgot to post them on the blog. They turned out so cute...the one of Beckham is the best one I could get, he's at the age where he can't stand still. It's his 18th month old picture, man he's growing up too fast!

Brooklyn is just so pretty, she is so sweet and I love that I found this sweater for $3, it's stinkin' cute on her.

Sparkling Fairy Pre-school

So, preschool is way too expensive don't you agree??? It makes me sick...anyway, so two of my friends and I decided to do a co-op preschool with our girls. Brooklyn, Grace, and Hadley are in the Sparkling Fairy Pre-school, Brooklyn came up with the name while putting on sparkly lotion and I was telling her about how she was going to school. She asked if it was a fairy school, a sparkling fairy school. So we thought the name was cute and went with it. We made them some cute T-shirts to wear and they all LOVED them and they got to make fairy wands.

Mel, Sara and I each take turns teaching. We have class once a week and on the 4th week we have a field trip. I have taught class once and it was Valentine's week so we had quite a valentine party, I had so much fun planning it. The girls came and sat around the table and I taught them the letter V, how to write it, what words start with it....Valentine, we learned the shape heart and how to draw it and went over our valentine colors red, white, and pink. Then we cut out hearts and decorated them and also made cute photo valentines for their parents and learned a valentine song:

I'm gonna wrap myself in paper
I'm gonna dab myself with glue
I'm gonna put a stamp on top of my head
I'm gonna mail myself to you

I'm gonna tie myself with red string
I'm gonna use blue ribbon too
I'm gonna climb up in your mailbox
I'm gonna mail myself to you

They then had time to just play for a bit while I set up their party. I bought them cute mailboxes and put their names on them, they turned out so cute. I made some heart shaped cookies and love potion.

Their parents came back for the party, they got their mailboxes and exchanged valentines. Then they gave their photo valentines to their moms and performed their song with actions. Then they got to decorate cookies and drink love potion, it was really fun, man I love having parties, it's the best!

Along with the valentine party pics are their pics with their shirts on. They loved matching and loved the fairies on the back and that the whole shirt sparkled. We are having a lot of fun with this group of little girls, we've got lots of fun ideas ahead.

Too Funny!

Bedtime...

Chris puts Brooklyn to bed...5 minutes later Brooklyn is at the top of the stairs...

Brooklyn: Daddy I need a book, can you get one for me?

Daddy: You can get a book, go to bed.

Brooklyn: Will you put me in bed please?

Chris gives in and goes to put her in bed. Meanwhile, we are enjoy a good laugh while watching The Office, there is a commercial break and we once again hear Brooklyn...

Brooklyn: Daddy, I'm going to sleep with my bunny rabbit puppet.

Daddy: Good Luck with that.

Brooklyn (laughing): But Daddy you forgot to come and put me to bed.

Mommy: You forgot to put yourself back to bed....twice!

Chris and I share a laugh and then Chris says jokingly...

Daddy: Take That Brooklyn!! (and laughs again thinking she doesn't get it)

Brooklyn: You can go in the Garbage!!! Take That Chris!!!

Yeah, she really did say Chris, what a stinkin' cute kid, ha!.............too funny!

High School Musical 3 video party!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay! I finally have a night to blog this and catch up on all my other posts with actual written explanations of all the pictures. First, before I go into this fun and amusing post of HSM3, I just want to say.....I was so disappointed in the Bachelor...enough said, I'm sad I wasted 3 hours last night on that!

Ok, now I can start with the fun! So, ever since we went to the "big theatre" ,as Brooklyn calls it, to see High School Musical 3, we have been waiting and waiting till it came out on DVD. And yes we were in Montana when it came out and we drove the 35 mile drive to walmart that day to get it and the kids watched it in the car on the way home. We watched it probably 4 or 5 more times after that too!

We got back to Seattle and decided to have a party with Linus and Janeece (the ones we went to the "big theatre" with). They are big fans like we are. They came over and had dinner and it was funny because Linus kept asking, "Is it time to watch High School Musical 3 yet?" So we got the party started. First, Beckham dressed in the Wildcat red and white, Linus had a HSM wildcat shirt on and Brooklyn wore the Gabriella dress I made for her, plus the wig. We had to have a preshow before watching the movie. So we set up the HSM stage in the living room and put the karaoke on and here they are, aren't they so awesome!

They were a blast to watch so here is a few video too...

Beckham is such a cute little fan too! He really gets into it with his dancing and tries to sing, it's so cute. He loves the basketball songs the best and pretends he is dribbling during the songs like on the movie.

It was such a fun night, we watched the movie and had treats and popcorn, Janeece and I will definately do it again sometime soon! Brooklyn keeps asking for a High School Musical birthday party, so we'll see...Aunt Laini will be here for her birthday so it will probably happen!!
